Evidence Based Training Programs:
Parent Child Mother Goose:
Parent-Child Mother Goose is an evidence-based program that strengthens attachment and interaction between parents or carers and their young children by introducing them to the pleasure and power of using rhymes, songs and stories together.
Through the program, parents gain skills and confidence that help them create positive family patterns during their children's crucial early years. At the same time, children benefit from enjoyable, healthy early experiences with language and communication.
Drumbeat:
Holyoake's DRUMBEAT is the world's first structured learning program using music, psychology and neurobiology to reconnect with ourselves and others.
The name DRUMBEAT is an acronym for Discovering Relationships Using Music, Beliefs, Emotions, Attitudes, and Thoughts.
Seasons for Growth:
Seasons for Growth helps children, young people and adults understand and attend well to their grief following change and loss experiences.
Tuning into Kids:
Tuning into Kids is an evidence-based parenting program that focuses on the emotional connection between parents and children.
Bringing Up Great Kids:
Bringing Up Great Kids is a suite of parenting programs which professionals can be trained to implement with a range of parents and carers of children at different ages.
Kimochi (Key.Moe.Chee):
Sometimes kids and adults have strong feelings that can fuel challenging behaviours. Sometimes it is hard to know how to communicate when you are in an emotional moment. Kimochis are a playful way to help children (and adults) learn how to identify and express feelings. When kids can communicate their feelings effectively, they develop positive social skills that lead to lasting friendships and success in all aspects of life.
